|Description (Service)||24-hour crisis line, 40-bed crisis shelter, support groups, and community referrals, for women and their children in abusive relationships.
Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region has a commitment to helping women and their children develop new family patterns, free from abuse, in an atmosphere of trust and openness.
The services of Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region are open to all women irrespective of ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical ability and age. They recognize that discrimination is in itself a form of abuse.
-Emergency shelter. Support, referrals, advocacy, groups for women.
-Outreach program for women who are considering or have already left an abusive relationship. Offers one to one support, advocacy and referrals.
-Safe Steps program for mothers and children who have experienced/witnessed abuse.

|Public Comments||COVID-19 Update: We remain open to accept new intakes. We have put strict rules in place around social distancing, no visitors and not leaving the shelter. New intakes must self isolate for 14 days.
We now have a “Let’s Talk” feature on their website . With this tool, women can chat online directly with an outreach worker.
We continue to provide individual support, but no groups are running.In an effort to respect the privacy of their clients and blend into residential scale, Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region attempts to keep their address information private.
