Description & Services
Description (Service) Offers a variety of recreational, fitness, social, athletic and educational programs and events * drop-in programs can include table tennis, bridge, crafters, quilting, bingo, shuffleboard, walking, social cards and badminton. Registered programs include pilates, cycle, strength training, TRX, zumba, line dancing, languages, computer classes, wellness classes and more * * special events with various themes are offered throughout the year * part of the W.G. Johnson Centre which also has a 23m pool, a conditioning centre and a gymnasium. Free parking is available at the centre * all programs are open to adults age 18 years and older, but with a 50+ Membership, older adults receive a variety of benefits ranging from reduced rates to access to clubs (Ancient Mariners Canoe Club, Cambridge Senior Choir, Chesley Lake Get-a-way, Cambridge Seniors Woodworking, and a Travel Club) to access to support services * volunteer opportunities are also available for positions like reception, events committee, centre board, and activity convenors
