Description (Service) Starting Friday, March 19, vaccination clinics are being coordinated for community members experiencing homelessness. Individuals experiencing homelessness should connect with one of the following partners to find out what clinic they can visit: 
  • Emergency Shelter agency or staff 
  • Street Outreach agency or staff  
  • Drop-in program or staff 
  • Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre 
  • Langs Community Health Centre Vaccination Clinic 
Hours To attend a vaccination clinic, residents must have an appointment and be eligible under provincial guidance for Phase One.
Eligibility Members of any of the following priority groups are now eligible to pre-register for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.  
  • Adult recipients of chronic home care 
  • Adults 60-69 years of age 
  • Adults 70-79 years of age 
  • Adults 80 years of age and older 
  • Health care workers (All categories) 
  • Indigenous adults (Includes individuals and elders regardless of status or Indigenous identity and any adults 18 years of age and older, living in their immediate household.) 
  • Long-term care and retirement homes staff  
  • Long-term care and retirement homes essential caregivers 
  • Seniors group settings staff and residents 
  • Seniors group setting essential caregivers 
Adults 50 years of age and older (born in 1971 or earlier) who live in neighbourhoods that have been identified as high risk: 
  • Vanier/Rockway 
  • Country Hills 
  • Alpine/Laurentian 
  • Victoria Hills/Cherry Hill 
  • Shades Mills
