Description (Service) The University of Waterloo Optometry Contact Lens Clinic offers appointments for contact lens check ups, new fittings and preliminary consultations to assess the suitability of contact lenses for daily or extended wear. 
The clinic also offers specialty contact lens fitting for patients of all ages, requiring contact lenses for aphakia, keratoconus, post-corneal surgery, opaque tinted lenses to cover an eye, astigmatism and presbyopia.

Eligibility Ages: 7 year(s) and up
Application Members of the public, including the university community, are examined if they have had a full eye examination within the previous two years.

Fees Service - full and partial assessments are covered by OHIP for patients under the age of 20 years and for those 65 years and older. Persons between the ages of 20 and 65 years with certain specified medical conditions may also be covered by OHIP.
