The City of Waterloo provides a number of home support services to assist frail, isolated or marginalized adults to live safely and remain active in the community.
Enjoy a delicious three-course meal from Mondays to Fridays at noon at the Adult Recreation Centre at 185 King St. S * accommodations will be made for special dietary needs
Volunteers can accompany clients to the grocery store or pick up their items
Maintenance workers can assist with seasonal work, including lawn care, snow removal and minor repairs.
Dependable homemakers will help with household tasks, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
When people live alone, loneliness and personal safety are issues. Volunteers can call up to five days per week, Mondays to Fridays, to check in.
This service provides rides to medical appointments, social and recreational activities and grocery shopping.
Works with the City of Waterloo to provide educational experiences and stream stewardship activities for the community.
