| Description (Service) | The Homemaking Support Services Program provides in-home, homemaking support services to individuals on a limited income who require assistance/support due to an illness or injury, the effects of aging or are persons with a disability: mental health, physical health or cognitive or developmental deficits that impacts their ability to participate in homemaking tasks. Services may include light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation and groceries. Service allocation is based on assessed need and/or involvement of other informal or formal supports. |
